As a Java Developer, you’ll be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying features and enhancements for the bank’s central Data Quality reporting platform. Your work will directly contribute to BCBS239 reporting and data quality analysis processes.
You will work with Java (17+), Thymeleaf, JDBC, and JavaScript, utilizing Spring ecosystem components and modern Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services. From backend API integrations to frontend development, you will deliver functionality that meets both technical and business requirements.
responsibilities :
Develop and enhance modules and features for the bank’s Data Quality platform to support BCBS239 and other DQ reporting requirements.
Deliver high-quality backend solutions using Java (17+), Spring Boot, JDBC, and REST APIs.
Build dynamic frontend components using Thymeleaf and JavaScript to create a user-friendly experience.
Utilize the Spring ecosystem (e.g., Spring Boot, Spring Security, Spring AI) to seamlessly build application workflows.
Leverage Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services to implement scalable and efficient solutions.
Work with Docker and Cloud Run for containerization and orchestration, ensuring highly available deployments.
Use Terraform and Cloud Build CI/CD pipelines to support infrastructure-as-code and automation needs.
Analyze and resolve incidents or technical issues effectively to maintain system stability.

Strong expertise in Java (17+), Spring Boot, Spring Security, and related Spring technologies
Experience working with relational databases and SQL to handle complex data flows.
Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) solutions and services.
Solid understanding of Docker and Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform.
