1. Develop and maintain Java applications with a focus on performance, security, and scalability
2. Design and implement RESTful APIs
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance system performance and functionality

1. Java (8 and higher): Proficient in Java development
2. Design Patterns: Good understanding of the practical usage of the software design patterns
3. Spring Framework and Spring Security: Experienced with dependency injection, security, and web services
4. RESTful API Development: Skilled in designing and implementing REST APIs
5. Hibernate ORM: Familiar with ORM concepts and Hibernate, experience with performance optimisation
6. Logging and Monitoring: Familiar with SLF4J, Log4J, and application monitoring practices
7. PostgreSQL or Similar Relational Databases: Proficient in SQL and database management, experience in database optimisations (indexing, performance insights, normalization/denormalization)
8. Unit Testing: Proficient in unit testing with JUnit and Mockito, familiarity with PowerMock
9. Build Tools: Proficient with Maven
10. Cloud: Experience with the AWS Services
11. Good English skills suited for an international working environment
12. Valid PL/EU work permit
