For our Financial Services Client we are looking for a Java Developer to join the Credit Risk Decision Team.The Clients system is based on a monolithic Java application and many microservices that cooperate with the monolith. They also have several external decision engines that are used when making decisions.The Client works according to the Agile ideology to plan, track and implement our tasks. At the moment the team consists of 5 programmers and 2 testers, as well as a business analyst, Scrum master and Product Owner.

Java Developer

Responsibilities:

• Maintenance of current application
• Development of new functionalities both within the monolith and in microservices
• Updating decision algorithms in cooperation with analysts

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience
• Knowledge of Java 8/11
• Experience with Spring + Hibernate + Maven applications
• Knowledge of SQL databases
• Experience in GIT, Maven environment
• Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn new things
• Experience or good knowledge of queueing systems (preferred: Apache Kafka)
