About the project

We are looking for an experienced Java Application Performance Engineer to join our team and support the optimization of performance and scalability of applications based on Java / Oracle WebLogic. If performance tuning, bottleneck analysis, and working with tools such as JMeter and AppDynamics are your strengths we would love to hear from you.

Your responsibilities

Conduct performance testing and analyze results to identify bottlenecks and areas for improvement in Java/WebLogic applications
Design and implement performance optimization strategies to improve speed, responsiveness, and scalability
Collaborate with software developers and architects to design and deliver performance enhancements
Monitor and analyze application performance metrics using monitoring tools and systems
Proactively and reactively identify performance issues, troubleshoot, and provide recommendations for resolution
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in application performance engineering

Our requirements

Proven experience as a Performance Engineer or in a similar role
Strong understanding of application architecture and performance optimization techniques
Hands-on experience with performance testing tools and methodologies (especially JMeter)
Experience with performance monitoring and analysis tools (e.g. AppDynamics or similar)
Practical experience in monitoring and analyzing performance of WebLogic-based applications
Familiarity with web/app server configuration and optimization
