We are looking for an ITSM Data Engineer (DevOps) to join our team and contribute to designing, building, and maintaining stable, scalable, and reliable BMC Helix data replication solutions.

The project focuses on processing large data sets, optimizing data architecture, and implementing modern ETL solutions.

Project is conducted in a hybrid model – at least one day per week from the office (Gdynia/Warsaw)

and at least once a month attending team workshops in Gdynia or Gdansk for 2-3 days.

Your responsibilities

• Designing and building a stable, scalable, near real-time, and reliable BMC Helix data replication solution.
• Developing and maintaining data architecture to ensure complete data collection and quality while adhering to best practices.
• Designing, building, testing, and maintaining data pipelines.
• Troubleshooting issues and introducing innovations in data processing.
• Working within a SAFe Scrum Team with aligned autonomy.
• Acting as a subject matter expert and advising IT and business stakeholders.
• Personal and professional development through an individual competence plan in collaboration with the manager and team.

Our requirements

• Experience in IT Service Management data integrations (preferably BMC Helix).
• Knowledge of data warehousing, data storage, data security, and ETL systems (SSIS, Snowflake).
• Hands-on experience with SQL (preferably T-SQL) and Python.
• Experience with CI/CD (Bamboo, Jenkins).
• Familiarity with databases such as MS SQL Server, Snowflake, PostgreSQL, Dataverse.
• Certification or experience with Lean-Agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe).
• A master’s degree in Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role.
• ITIL Foundation certification or proven IT Service Management experience.
• Fluency in English.
• Knowledge of best practices in data processing and ETL optimization.
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working with distributed and international teams.
• Proactiveness and willingness to share knowledge with the team.
