Be able to run the Datastage ETL process via tool as well as via unix script.
Validate the source flat files and generate the output files and do data reconciliation.
Analyse, design and build up testing and deployments.
Maintain high quality and accuracy up to ETL release in order to create great software solutions.
Perform regression testing efficiently by systematically selecting the appropriate minimum set of tests needed to adequately cover a particular change in order to create ETL solutions.
Follow the testing standards, test methods and test procedures to operate as an independent ‘operator’ to promote desired increase in test maturity.
Report, assign and track resolution of ETL code issues to improve future development quality.
Perform testing on all phases in the test life cycle to ensure robust implementation.
Understand common ETL run failures and faults to secure high quality of IT solutions.
