The role focuses on delivering exceptional planning, documentation and coordination of testing activities to the business, playing a critical role in aligning the Bank’s change portfolio to reflect regulatory requirements and business priorities
The Test Manager will be responsible for coordinating testing activities for the Payments & GLCM (Global Liquidity and Cash Management) projects. This will include:
-Full accountability for the Quality assurance of all testing in these projects,
-Ensuring that all test plans and test execution meets the business and regulatory objectives they were initiated for,
-Full compliance with all regulatory and scheme requirements,
-Consideration and mitigation against the introduction of any operational risk.

Manage testing across multiple application support streams, ensuring quality and compliance with regulatory standards.
Create auditable documentation, including test plans, strategies, cases, results, and stakeholder reports.
Address and escalate risks or issues identified during testing to ensure proper resolution.
Maintain expertise in UK payments testing, including Faster Payments, BACS, Cash, and Cheques.
Collaborate with multiple teams to execute testing phases with high standards and efficiency.
Champion advanced testing methodologies, such as shift-left techniques and test automation, to improve quality and efficiency.
Represent testing in project-level meetings, providing updates and ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Engage with global teams to share best practices and integrate advanced testing approaches across the organization.
requirements-expected :
Proven experience in managing E2E testing activities in banking domain (ideally payments (SEPA, SWIFT, ISO20022, card schemes, RTP).
Solid understanding of the SDLC and STLC in both Agile and Waterfall environments.
Proficiency in API testing, integration testing, system testing, UAT coordination, NFT.
Familiarity with automated testing tools (Selenium, Tosca, Insomnia).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Ability to prioritize competing demands and adapt to dynamic working environments.
Leadership experience with a focus on team development and fostering collaboration.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub) and ISTQB certification is a plus.
