We are seeking an experienced Windows System Specialist who will be working in Distributed Compute Team. In this role, you will be responsible for the planning, implementation, and maintenance of windows servers. You will work closely with other IT departments and Application owners to ensure that our windows solutions meet the requirements for availability, security, and performance.
responsibilities :
Setup, Configuration & Support for the hardware and software of a highly available Windows Server infrastructure
Planning, conception and implementation in case of maintenance activities
Performance and capacity management
Analyse, support and advice in business / project demands (Demand Management)
Ensure Service Quality Targets are met for offered platform services
Troubleshooting and vendor management in case of error in the environment and functionality
Create documentation for the team which is helpful to do the job
Work on incident & problem management, permanent issue fix and production support
Develop automation capabilites to reduce infrastructure complexity and manual effort
Collaborate and communicate with business stakeholders and IT teams
Remediation of Security vulnerabilities
requirements-expected :
Strong experience in the following categories and the associated management software:
Microsoft Windows Server (2k12, 2k16, 2k19, 2k22 and 2k25) Technology
Microsoft SCCM
Microsoft Cluster Technology
VMWare/ESX VM management
x86 Enterprise Server Hardware
Experience working with common scripting languages such as PowserShell, Perl, Python
Experience working with DevOps tools e.g. GitHub, Jira, Confluence
Knowledge and awareness with Security aspects, compliance, vulnerability
Experience with operational management according to ITIL, agile working and project management
