Your Role in the IT Department - Support, Collaborate, and Innovate

As an IT Support Specialist , you will be the first line of support for FOSS employees, handling technical issues both onsite and remotely. Youll be part of a dedicated IT team, working closely with colleagues from different departments to ensure seamless IT operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide support for hardware, software, and network issues via ticketing systems, phone, Teams, and email.
  • Register, analyze, and resolve incidents and service requests in accordance with SLAs.
  • Configure and install computers, applications, and peripheral devices.
  • Administer systems like Office 365, Exchange, SharePoint, and Active Directory.
  • Collaborate with higher-level support teams and external IT service providers.
  • Monitor IT infrastructure performance and ensure high security standards.
  • Manage IT equipment inventory and coordinate hardware procurement processes.

Professional & Personal Competences

Must-Have Competences:

  • Strong knowledge of Windows, Office 365, Active Directory, and Windows Server environments
  • Experience with IT incident management and troubleshooting
  • Proficiency in Active Directory and user account management
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Nice-to-have Competences:

  • Experience with cloud platforms like Azure
  • Knowledge of PowerShell scripting
  • Exposure to cybersecurity practices, especially ISO 27001
  • Experience with mobile device management (MDM) solutions
  • Familiarity with Apple environment

We welcome candidates with a Bachelors degree in IT, Computer Science, or related fields.
