Scope of Duties:

1. Provide second level support for all software and hardware needs of end-user computing and desktop-based LAN/WAN systems; troubleshoot and diagnose problems to resolution to minimize downtime of applications and personnel, track and report activities in service management system, and follow internal escalation routines to various IT support functions.
2. Manage all phases of end user computing technology life cycle; use asset inventory system to track hardware and software and maintain compliance.
3. Maintain and repair broken hardware and/or coordinate with software and hardware vendors to request service regarding defective products.
4. Administer systems and users in Active Directory, System Center Configuration Manager, Outlook, MS Teams for Business, and M365.
5. Provide accurate records of each call in a service management tracking tool; monitor all open issues to ensure business and customer expectations are met, provide periodic updates, and promote customer advocacy.
6. Support local data center operations including facility infrastructure support for HVAC, generator, UPS, and related electrical systems.
7. Responsible for daily backups, tape rotations, and data restore at local server room level.

Required Skills:

1. Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role as IT Specialist.
2. Fluency in English (minimum B2 level).
3. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents such as safety rules, standard operating procedures, and technical manuals.
4. Computer skills for desktop computing and server environments.
5. Customer service skills.
6. Teamwork and cooperation.
7. Available for occasional short international trips (approximately twice per year).
8. Available for occasional on-call and after hours support.
