Within this functional area, the PLM Solution Specialist is a part of the End to End Product team and is responsible for supporting PLM applications and end-to-end processes like application authorization or software installation. This person contributes to and executes PLM projects with METTLER TOLEDO subsidiaries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide tier 2 support (troubleshooting and resolving issues) in close collaboration with the power users (tier 1) in the units:
    • Support with the installation and maintenance of PLM software packages on end user clients.
    • Support with the PLM applications infrastructure, ensuring high availability of the critical application components.
    • Support the end users with authentication and authorization issues.
  • Identify areas for improvement with regards to functionalities, performance, automation, user friendliness and robustness of the solutions.
  • Contribute to the evolution of the global process template, design guidelines and design quality checks, collaborating with Product Owner, Solution Architect and Business Analyst.
  • Maintain the necessary documentation to make the power users self-sufficient (i.e. user manual, process documentation).
  • Maintain and execute test scripts.
  • Support enhancement and upgrade projects during all phases until delivery to production.
  • Execute user training for new functionalities and refresh trainings.

What You Need to Succeed

  • Good knowledge of PLM systems (Siemens Teamcenter is a plus).
  • Great communication skills in English (both written and spoken).
  • Experience with Agile Scrum methodology.
  • Experience with change management processes (CMII, ITIL or similar).
  • Ability to communicate across different teams (i.e., R&D, Operations, Infrastructure, Network).
  • Independent, accurate way of working and understanding of complex processes and interdependencies, with high problem solving ability.
  • Excellent team player capabilities and communication skills.
  • Responsibilities may sometimes require working evenings and/or weekends.
  • Masters or bachelors degree in Engineering, Computational Science, Business Management (is a plus) or similar or relevant experience.
