Currently we are looking for IT Service Manager with ITIL certification who will join a team working on projects for our Client- leading global liner shipping company.
As a IT Service Manager youll be responsible for those core ITIL Practices their strategic direction. You will work across all the functional areas within the IT and ensure processes within your scope are defined, implemented, adhered to and aligned with business needs.
The office is in Gdansk and because of taking care of the good team spirit and integration between coworkers, the work is in a hybrid model. Scope of remote work to be determined. (Office visits could be once every two weeks, therefore candidates from the Tricity are preferred.)
Possibility of 100% remote work.
responsibilities :
Creating and redesigning Change Enablement and Release & Deployment practices, effectively communicating and enforcing them across the IT organization
Providing process guidance and training to both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring process compliance
Driving process standardization and enforcing ITIL best practices
Establishing process KPIs, producing regular reports for management, and driving continuous improvement
Engaging in requirements engineering for ITSM enablement platforms, collaborating closely with technical teams for refinement, planning, testing, and production rollout
Working with technical teams on service reviews and process KPIs
Further developing and optimizing established practices, promoting automation, and digitalizing services
Actively contributing to ITSM projects at both operational and strategic levels
requirements-expected :
University degree in IT or relevant professional experience in the IT sector
Several years of experience in IT Service Management within an ITIL-driven corporate environment
Proven track record of at least 5 years in Change Enablement and/or Release & Deployment process design, implementation, enforcement, and continuous improvement
Good understanding of modern IT infrastructure and application architecture
ITIL certification (Foundation is a must, advanced levels are advantageous)
Experience in applying ITIL practices in a DevSecOps environment or part of an Agile/DevSecOps transformation
Experience with IT Service Management Platforms (Jira and/or ServiceNow preferred)
Strong analytical skills with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders
Agile mindset with a high level of quality awareness, enjoying knowledge sharing, and confident in face-to-face and virtual collaboration
Proactive, solution-oriented approach with a passion for implementing complex service management projects in an agile environment
Fluent in English; German language skills are an advantage
