Job description:
The IT Service Delivery Functional Lead for Manufacturing SAP will support critical functional SAP workstreams in one or more areas - Finance, Quality Management, Manufacturing and Procure To Pay. The role will serve as a partnered liaison between the business, IT Basis, IT Security and IT Functional Teams. The role will support the managed service provider with complex support, enhancements and engage in projects and ensure we are aligning to best practices. This role is responsible for building strong, collaborative relationships across our IT and business teams.
What you will do:
Operations
- Ensure excellence in process execution across all operational processes (e.g., incident, problem, change, configuration, etc.) related to the service.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to mature operations and increase visibility into service performance.
- Advise business on available standards, methods, tools and application relevant to area of service and can make appropriate choices for alternatives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with IT and business teams.
- Partner with business and technical teams to drive consensus on the best solution to business demand and the delivery of solutions.
- Define tangible use cases that align desired technology output to commercial objectives.
- Recommend business process and system changes to improve efficiency and business outcomes.
- Ensure clear communication between business stakeholders and IT technical teams.
What you need:
- Bachelors Degree required.
- Bachelors degree in the areas of Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Business, preferred.
- ITIL certification preferred.
- At least 10 years of experience in the field of IT and Manufacturing.
- Experience in at least one of the following functional areas: Finance, Quality Management, Manufacturing, Procure To Pay.
- Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills.
- Strong knowledge of PC skills working with large datasets (Excel spreadsheets, PowerPoint presentations, Word).
Physical & Mental Requirements:
- Works independently without supervision.
- Strong team player.
- Ability to lead on and off-shore technical teams.
- Works effectively with cross-departmental teams.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to facilitate discussions across the team to derive solutions.
- Ability to self-direct work efforts, meet deadlines, and produce consistent high-quality work.
