Working within the Global IT Professional Services team the IT Senior Technical Analyst will be based in our Bydgoszcz facility in Poland. They will be expected to develop a deep understanding of both the Reconext business and the IT applications and processes which support it.
The IT Senior Technical Analyst is Customer facing and has outstanding communication skills; being able to explain IT concepts to business stakeholders at all levels both within and outside of Reconext.
Reconext is part way through a major upgrade project replacing legacy shop-floor systems with a new application. The IT Senior Technical analyst will play a pivotal role in this project, becoming an expert in our new application helping our business teams move to the new system and managing any issues they encounter.
The IT Senior Technical Analyst is also expected to become highly knowledgeable on IT integration and messaging since these forms a core component of the IT landscape in Reconext. This comprises of the design and implementation of messages including the mapping of the message content into and out of Reconext systems. They will also implement message monitoring processes and troubleshooting guides for post go-live. As such they have a close working relationship with the IT Integration development team.
Having an excellent knowledge of how the various IT systems operate and interact with each other, the standard implementations of these systems, knowing their capabilities and limitations.
Having an excellent knowledge of messaging and integration, producing mapping specifications, troubleshooting guides and monitoring processes
Collecting and documenting Business requirements by use of interviews, workshops, site visits, task, and workflow analysis
Working with external customers to understand requirements, presenting Reconext IT capabilities, demonstrating our systems and quoting the IT effort needed to create the required solution
Modelling business requirements and translating to application and operational requirements based on the standard suite of applications
Where necessary (if standard solutions are not appropriate or existing) creating and documenting functional requirements for new development
Being hands-on with the IT applications, able to perform top-level set-up and configuration tasks as required and using SQL and other tools to extract information from the systems
Providing 2nd or 3rd level support for questions and issues which cannot be answered or solved by 1st level support
May be responsible for scheduling, reporting, and managing the workload of other IT staff either on a project or day-to-day level
requirements-expected :
Relevant Degree or equivalent
IT Systems Integration (B2B) methods and execution
Knowledge of shopfloor and logistics systems functionality preferably in a manufacturing, distribution or service environment
SQL language
At least 3-5 year in a similar role.
Experience of creating specifications for IT development
Experience of SQL for writing queries to extract ad-hoc information from databases
Experience of problem solving
IT Analysis skills – creating specifications
Able to perform to a high level of accuracy when under pressure.
Well organized and able to work on own initiative

Ability to own and run meetings and workshop sessions
