• We are looking for an experienced IT Project Manager or Scrum Master who can take ownership of delivering technology projects and driving real business benefits.
• You will work on initiatives that may be part of wider technology change programmes, dedicated technology-only projects, or standalone assignments. The scope of these projects is often global, impacting multiple business areas. Currently, our focus is on delivering impactful changes to the payments environment, placing you at the heart of innovation in this critical area.

• Shape the project approach by securing stakeholder alignment on plans, commitments, and changes.
• Help technology teams deliver proactively—managing scope, timelines, resources, dependencies, communications, and budgets.
• Work closely with the Technology team and Product Owner to boost productivity, primarily by managing the backlog effectively.
• Ensure project alignment with broader programme goals and the overall change portfolio.
• Track and report progress, issues, dependencies, and risks to programme management, stakeholders, and steering committees, offering recommendations to guide decisions.
• Lead and facilitate Scrum events—Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Reviews, and Retrospectives.
• Remove obstacles and streamline workflows to enable timely delivery.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to support planning, monitoring, and accountability for objectives.
• Coach teams and the wider organisation in Agile and Scrum practices.
• Continuously improve development processes and working practices, tailoring them to project needs.

• Hands-on experience delivering implementation projects, particularly regulatory initiatives.
• Ability to break down and explain complex processes and requirements clearly.
• Strong leadership and ownership mindset, with a proven track record of end-to-end delivery.
• Solid background in business process improvement and IT change projects.
• Strong commitment to customer satisfaction and timely delivery.
• Skilled in proposing practical solutions and negotiating with stakeholders and delivery teams.
• Comfortable working with Agile development teams and bridging to waterfall outcomes when needed.
• Proven relationship management skills in complex stakeholder environments.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and user support experience.
• Proactive, practical, and pragmatic approach to delivery.
• Good working knowledge of general payment processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and collaborate.
• Experience using Confluence and Jira to support project delivery.
