We are seeking highly skilled and experienced Project Manager who will join a team working in a global container liner shipping company. You will lead a pivotal transition of our IT Service Desk operations across multiple locations in Europe.
Possibility of 100% remote work with occasional travel to project sites.
responsibilities :
Coordinating and managing the transition of IT Service Desk operations from Germany to new locations
Overseeing six workstreams, ensuring alignment with project timelines and deliverables
Managing risk, reporting, and communication with internal stakeholders and external parties
Collaborating closely with internal teams, providing guidance on the quality and direction of the provided solutions
Supporting the implementation of enhancements such as Experience Management (using Nexthink), Chatbot integration in Teams, automation of Service Request workflows, and a new cloud-based Contact Center solution
Ensuring a seamless service transition by following best practices in transition management, including review, shadowing, reverse shadowing, and go-live support
requirements-expected :
Minimum of 5-7 years of experience as a IT Project Manager
Certified Project Manager (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent)
Certified in ITIL
Proven experience in Service Management and Support processes
Experience in managing IT Service Desk operations and familiarity with state-of-the-art services (e.g., XLAs, Chatbots) is highly desirable
Experience in managing transitions, including review, shadowing, and go-live processes, is a plus
Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Ability to engage actively in discussions about the quality and direction of provided solutions, not just focusing on steering, risk management, and communication
Proficiency in English at the C1 level
