Join to apply for the IT Project and Requirements Engineer role at HUBER+SUHNER — a leading player in appliances and electrical manufacturing. This position is responsible for leading and coordinating IT projects from initiation to closure, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget. The role also involves capturing, analyzing, validating, and documenting business needs and expectations for ICT‑based solutions, aligning stakeholder requirements, modeling business processes, and translating them into system requirements.

The position involves work across two manufacturing plants (Nawojowa Góra and Pisary). The role is expected to deliver cost‑effective, feasible ICT solutions.

Key Tasks

Supporting communication between business and IT departments.
Analyzing the overall interrelationships of the software engineering solution.
Identifying and resolving conflicting goals among users and stakeholders.
Recording, analysing, validating and documenting the needs and expectations of clients.
Transforming business needs, requirements and wishes of users into system requirements.
Communicating with internal and external stakeholders and presenting the results of this communication.
Testing technologies and strategies for problem solving by means of feasibility studies and prototypes.
Presenting and evaluating alternative solutions taking into account technological and economic aspects.
Formulating functional and non‑functional requirements for ICT systems.
Identifying and documenting the system scope of the ICT solution.
Creating and checking the requirement specifications for the ICT solution.
Ensuring needs‑based and cost‑effective system designs by participating in system design reviews.
Supporting the implementation of the specified systems.
Defining and reviewing the test objectives in collaboration with users and stakeholders; collaborating on the creation of test cases; planning, monitoring and evaluation of user tests; determining residual risks after the tests have been executed; evaluating and validating the ICT solution together with clients and stakeholders.
Process change requests and preparing the corresponding basis for decision‑making (change request management).

Your Profile

University degree in computer systems design or computer science or equivalent experience with 5 years’ work experience.
Experience with the development process and mastery of project management techniques.
Direct experience managing applications and/or systems.
Proven experience overseeing the development and implementation of software solutions.
Hands‑on experience with automated software management tools.
Fluency in at least one programming language such as Java, C++, or Python; familiarity with software engineering principles.
Wide knowledge of system analysis and software quality assurance best practices and methodologies.
Capability in handling uncertainty and challenges.
Strong project management skills or substantial exposure to project‑based work structures.
Proficiency in proposing approaches that aid stakeholders in making significant decisions.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Fluent written and spoken English.
Strong customer‑service orientation.
Excellent communication both technical and user‑friendly language.
Attention to detail.
Willingness and flexibility to travel.
