IT/OT Specialist

• develop a basic understanding of OT equipment like laser cutters, welding machines, presses, autonomous vehicles, scanners and terminals by various manufacturers like Trumpf, Maplan, Panasonic, Addverb, Dell etc. – and their specific IT interfaces
• inventory all connected OT equipment and own it from an IT perspective, building an inventory about suppliers, speaking partners and relevant network parameters to securely connect these machines to our network
• implement IT Security relevant measures globally supporting our Connected Factories strategy and ensure process adherence
• support our Business to extract data from our networked OT equipment to store it in big data repositories
• work with our Business to optimize OT equipment usage, maximize availabilities and run necessary upgrades (IT related)
• own OT equipment from an IT perspective, i.e. know what exactly is used where by whom, how it is connected, who is supporting it, what firmware it is running, how to update it
• make OT documentation available to all DeLaval stakeholders
• drive the implementation of IT Security measures in all DeLaval sites globally where OT equipment is being used
• run or supervise hands-on activities for securely connecting equipment to our network and support troubleshooting in case of device failure

IT Core Infrastructure is a team within DeLaval with a global focus. Through this position we will intensify the cooperation with our Supply-Chain organization and support our Business to unleash the optimization potentials of the Digital Factory / Industry 4.0. You will be reporting to the Director IT Core Infrastructure.
