We are looking for an experienced IT Operations Specialist to join the Credit Assessment and Decision Technology area, operating within a mature BizDevOps model.
The role is focused on ensuring stability, reliability, and operational excellence of multiple Pega applications running in production and pre-production environments.
This position is strictly operations-oriented (not development) and plays a key role in production support, monitoring, incident handling, and release coordination for business-critical systems.
Work model: Hybrid 2 -3 days per week from the office
responsibilities :
Operational Support & Monitoring:
Accept, analyze, and resolve support tickets for multiple Pega applications
Monitor application performance, system health, and business processes
Perform proactive health checks and preventive maintenance activities
Manage incident response and coordinate stakeholders during critical production issues
Problem Management & Analysis:
Troubleshoot complex issues in pre-production and production environments
Perform root cause analysis as part of structured problem management
Conduct detailed Pega log analysis and debugging using enterprise monitoring tools
Document solutions and maintain a knowledge base for recurring issues
Release & Deployment Operations:
Execute application deployments using Pega Deployment Manager in line with ITIL processes
Coordinate releases across multiple environments (Pre-Production, Production)
Manage deployment schedules and communicate with business and technical stakeholders
Perform post-deployment validation and rollback procedures when required
requirements-expected :
Certifications & Process Knowledge
Pega Certified System Architect (CSA) – mandatory
ITIL Foundation certification or commitment to complete within 6 months
Solid understanding of ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change, Release Management)
Technical & Operational Skills
3+ years of hands-on experience in Pega application operations and production support
Strong knowledge of Pega architecture, rule resolution, and system administration
Practical experience with Pega Deployment Manager and environment management
Strong skills in log analysis, debugging, and performance troubleshooting
Experience with enterprise monitoring and alerting tools (PDC, Splunk)
Understanding of deployment pipelines and release coordination
Hands-on experience in incident and change management
