Manage IT Operations function (2 teams – IT Infrastructure and Service Desk).
Lead IT professionals and provide guidance and support to ensure that they are meeting their goals and objectives.
Coordinate and direct the development and implementation of IT policies, standards, guidelines, and other requirements needed to ensure IT operational efficiency.
Manage the IT Operations budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and alignment with strategic objectives.
Evaluate and implement new technologies and systems that improve IT infrastructure and support the organizations business goals.
Ensure the delivery of IT services according to business needs.
Manage relationships with third-party service providers.
Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans to minimize downtime and data loss.
Maintain close cooperation with IT Infrastructure team at GATX Global.
requirements-expected :
Degree in Information Technology discipline, masters degree preferred.
Minimum 3 years of experience in similar role.
Previous experience working in an IT infrastructure team.
People management skills and experience, ideally in geographically distributed teams.
Technical proficiency and knowledge of IT infrastructure, networks, and systems to effectively manage and troubleshoot issues.
Advanced practical knowledge of ITIL, Service Delivery and customer support; relevant certification such as ITIL would be an asset.
Fluency in Polish and English.
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communications skills, including the ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Ability to understand business goals and to interact with all levels of management.
High degree of initiative, dependability, and ability to work with little supervision.
Problem-solving attitude.
