We are seeking a technical and business oriented IT Operations Engineer for our international Client in finance industry, to help them resolve IT Incidents and Problems. You will join IT department which designs, develops and supports the functionalities that enable the trades in shares, derivatives, funds, bonds and the facilitation of corporate actions and any client performance reports. Securities and derivatives knowledge is a plus but will definitely be learned on the job as well.

responsibilities :
Resolve IT incidents promptly, prioritize effectively under pressure, and maintain clear communication with stakeholders to de-escalate issues.
Continuously enhance IT Operations processes, including monitoring, alerting, and testing suites.
Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot systems running on Linux servers, Cobol, Mainframe, Unix, Oracle, and SQL.
Manage the entire IT ticketing lifecycle (Incident, Problem, Workaround, RCA, Known Issue) while adhering to ITIL principles and operational procedures.
Work closely with DevOps teams to develop solutions, implement workarounds, and bridge gaps in core product design while addressing user expectations.
Adapt communication style to technical and non-technical audiences, ensuring transparency and clarity in updates and solutions.
requirements-expected :
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize tasks
Experience working in Cobol, Mainframe, Unix systems, Linux servers, Oracle, and SQL
Basic knowledge of Financial Securities (shares, bonds, funds, corporate actions)
Familiarity with ITIL processes and practical application
Experience working in DevOps or IT Operations, with a focus on continuous improvement
Ability to suggest and implement improvements in monitoring, alerting, and service delivery
Good communication skills in English, adaptable to various audiences
