Perform efficient identification and monitoring of suspicious activities and transactions
Co-ordinate day-to-day operations and support according to the defined standards processes and policies/procedures
Recommends technical solutions on the basis of the market best practices
Plans the selected solutions, manages their implementation and actively takes part in related operational activities for IT infrastructure and banking applications
Administer servers, desktop computers, printers, routers, switches, firewalls, phones, smartphones, software deployment, applying operating system updates, patches and configuration changes
Achieve daily backup operations, ensuring all required file systems and system data are successfully backed up to the appropriate media, recovery tapes or disks are created and media is recycled and sent off site as necessary
Execute daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs such as backups
Perform regular file archival and purge as necessary
Documenting the configuration of the systems
Investigate and troubleshoot issues
Repair and recover infrastructure systems from hardware or software failures
Permanently take care of risk and control aspects
Continuously take part in the improvement of operational procedures
Work together with international IT Team to achieve business needs and project goals
Work together with and coordinate external suppliers / consultants
Ensures local compliance with Head office’s information security policies and procedures
Monitors and reports on key ICT controls and risks
Systematically documents IT issues
Reports any customer complaints to his/her direct Management and to the Compliance function
Completes detailed IT and cybersecurity assessments/surveys
requirements-expected :
At least bachelor’s degree or equivalent in IT technologies; financial knowledge would be an asset
At least 3 years of experience in a similar position in a commercial bank,
Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
Advanced knowledge of Active Directory administration
Knowledge of System and Data backups
Basic knowledge of Networking
Experience with email management systems
Good listening and analytical skills, proactivity, respect of data confidentiality, good awareness of cybersecurity and risks related to IT aspects, autonomy and work flexibility
Willingness to adapt to changing technology trends and embrace new technologies
Fluency in English and Polish; Chinese would be an asset
Ability to work in an international environment
