Aliaxis is currently hiring a new IT Manager Data Architect to lead a team of +- 10 people in our IT Hub in Wroclaw, Poland. You will oversee and guide the IT Data Platform team, leading effort to design, architect, and build the EMEA data platform. Job Description: Managing a team of ten, you will oversee and guide the IT Data Platform team, leading efforts to plan, design, architect, and build the EMEA data platform. You will act as a liaison between IT and stakeholders, ensuring clear communication of priorities and progress.

Backlog management
Quality Insurance
Roadmap & project planning
Lead and motivate team members to achieve performance targets and objectives. Manage daily operations, including projects, priorities, and user requests. Lead mentoring and personal development plans for the team
As a SCRUM Product Owner, maintain and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs
Collaborate with Business department leaders to understand, analyze, build, and deliver new data models, processes, and reports
Establish and drive adoption of best practices for data engineering, component re-use, architecture, and technical standards
Develop detailed project plans outlining tasks, timelines, and resource requirements. Plan future use cases, and build the multi-year roadmap of the data platform
As a Data Architect, shape the data infrastructure, design, manage, implement, and maintain technical systems that store, process, and analyze data. Is an expert in data modelling, database and warehouse development
requirements-expected :
Proven experience as a Team Leader or similar leadership role, leading an IT BI&data development team with SCRUM methodology
Strong experience in BI&data Analytics field
Excellent planning, organizational, time management, communication and teamwork skills
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Proven experience as a Data Architect
Experience within the Enterprise Intelligence field (Data Analytics, Data Warehouse modelling, Data Lake setup, Data cleansing, ETL, …)
Good understanding of end-to-end BI flow, like daily data refresh, data quality and data monitoring activities, performance optimization, data modelling
SQL proficiency (Oracle, MSSQL, DB2, …)
Strong knowledge of database structure systems and data mining
Experience integrating data from disparate sources
Experience in analyzing data to draw business-relevant conclusions and in data visualization techniques and tools
Experience with several of the following tools:
Reporting: Power BI, Tableau, BO Web Intelligence…
Data Platform: Snowflake, Azure Data factory, ADLS, Azure DevOps, Atlan Data Catalog, …
Experience in working in an international environment
Experience in working in a complex matrix organization
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, including technical writing skills
