IT License and Contract Specialist
Main responsibilities
- Monitoring and managing software licenses and their compliance across the organization
- Optimizing the license portfolio to maximize cost efficiency
- Conducting license and internal audits and preparing reports on their results
- Negotiating contracts with software and IT service providers
- Reviewing and evaluating contract terms to ensure favorable terms for the organization
- Overseeing contract execution and timely contract renewals
- Working closely with technical teams to understand technology needs and optimize purchases
- Coordinating with IT departments on software implementation and maintenance
- Preparing regular analyses of license and service contract spend
- Creating detailed license and contract status reports for the company's management
- Identifying and managing risks related to IT licenses and contracts
- Implementing legal and technological risk management strategies
Qualifications and personal skills
- At least 2-3 years experience working as a software license specialist
- Proficiency in spoken and written English
- You are always seeking for improvements and optimize
- You have very good communication skills
- Good understanding and practice experience with managing and maintaining a software library
- Working knowledge of vendor license models such as SAP, Microsoft, Salesforce and Azure
- Certified SAM related qualifications such as the Certificate in Software Asset Management is a plus
