- Your role:
- You will lead the design, delivery, and coordination of our technical education programs,
- from pre-bootcamp preparation to graduation and beyond. You will guide participants’
- learning journeys, ensure high-quality teaching, and foster strong connections with IT
- volunteers. Your roles will be shared with another team member.
- While the 3-month Bootcamp is running, the actual working time per month increases
- up to 80%.

Responsibilities: - Your responsibilities:
- Training & Mentoring – Develop and update teaching materials, set learning
- goals, teach technical skills, mentor in self-study, track participant progress,
- assess skills, and provide constructive feedback, lead graduation decisions, and
- run preparation weeks (before the bootcamp).
- Connecting Program (CP) Coordination – Plan and run the Connecting Program,
- review and recruit participants, liaise with job coaches, hold regular check-ins,
- provide career advice, help participants set learning goals, and develop both hard
- and soft skills. Track engagement, and evaluate performance.
- IT Volunteers Coordination – Recruit, onboard, and schedule IT volunteers, Keep
- trainer resources (factsheet, website, Airtable) updated, gather feedback, and
- connect volunteers with mentoring, project opportunities, workshop leading.
- Focus Weeks Planning – Coordinate learning groups on specific IT domains
- (guided by volunteers), recruit and support volunteers, organise Q&A sessions,
- monitor attendance, and collect feedback to improve for the future.
- Technical Assessment – Assess technical abilities and potential of candidates,
- prepare & conduct technical evaluations for all programs, projects and initiatives
- where technical assessment is needed.
- Technical Support – 1st-level support for powercoders.org, support and further
- development for futurecoders.ch, 1st-level support and answering technical
- questions about internal and external tools of the organization.
