About our team

Welcome to the Cards Technology Application Maintenance team. We add value by support, maintenance, deployment, and automation of multiple Nordea Cards applications to fulfill our customer’s needs. As an IT Infrastructure Specialist, you’ll play a valuable role in keeping Nordea operational and transforming our BizDevOps way of working. We are currently looking for a Java skilled person to join our Team.

What you’ll be doing:

• Practicing BizDevOps, collaborating closely with business, development, and other stakeholders
• Automating operations and driving continual service improvement, based on application performance
• Managing technical integrity, updates, releases, and deployments of the application
• Handling IT operations in line with ITIL best practices, including incident, change, and problem management

Your background and skills include:

• Knowledge of Java 21 microservices, Spring Boot 3.0, Kubernetes, HNAS, service accounts, keystores, and REST, SOAP, Apache Kafka, Oracle, Docker, MQ
• Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, Helix
• Proven experience of at least 3+ years in Java operations or related roles
• Familiarity with Java monitoring tools like Splunk, Grafana
• Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
• Experience in the financial domain, preferably in card payment service
