IT Infrastructure Security Specialist

Your new company 

For our client located in Gliwice, we are looking for an IT Infrastructure Security Specialist.

Your new role 

Position-related tasks:

• Monitoring systems and network communications using security appliances
• Identification, analysis, remediation, and resolution of security-related incidents with the assistance of other teams
• Performing periodic systems and network infrastructure scans for vulnerabilities
• Performing security assessments of systems and network infrastructure
• Configuring, deploying, updating, troubleshooting, and ensuring optimal performance of security appliances via continuous fine-tuning
• Performing technical research and POCs for security solutions
• Resolution of security-related service tickets
• Other security-related duties as needed

Responsibilities:
• Bear operational responsibility for security appliances
• Serve as a technical contact for security-related activities with other teams
• Maintain relevant ISMS documentation (e.g., procedures, guidelines, operational manuals, etc.)

What you39ll need to succeed 

• At least 2 years of professional experience in IT Security, ideally in a manufacturing company
• Hands-on experience configuring and maintaining IT security solutions, such as EDR, DLP, Email Security, Vulnerability Management, etc.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices and understanding of cloud and hybrid infrastructures
• Demonstrated capability to learn and adapt to new situations and requirements
• High level of personal integrity and ability to handle confidential matters
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Advanced communication skills in English
• Great attention to detail

Targets:
• Make sure that customer-specific requirements and quality requirements are covered
• Legal requirements, internal regulations and international standards are covered
• Able to manage all security appliances independently
• Perform information security awareness training
• Perform detailed forensic analysis
