We are looking for an IT Infrastructure Engineer to join our team at Displate.  In this role, you'll combine hands-on technical expertise with strategic thinking to ensure our IT operations run smoothly, securely, and efficiently. You’ll take the lead in advancing our infrastructure, maintaining high system availability, and driving continuous improvement across our tech environment. Working closely with both our IT Operations and Software Engineering teams, you'll design robust solutions, choose and implement the right technologies, and help shape the future of our infrastructure. We're looking for someone who can not only solve complex technical challenges but also mentor others and contribute to building scalable, secure, and future-ready IT services that support our company’s growth.

What will you do?

• Serve as the technical architect and strategist for IT Operations

• Design and implement technology solutions that align with business needs

• Evaluate and select technology stacks, tools, and platforms

• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the IT Operations team

• Collaborate with the IT Operations Lead to ensure alignment on technology strategy and implementation

• Oversee technical quality and performance of IT infrastructure and services

• Facilitate knowledge sharing and continuous improvement within the team

• Develop and maintain the technology roadmap in collaboration with IT leadership

• Research and recommend new technologies to improve operational efficiency

• Lead the technical implementation of projects and initiatives

• Ensure high-quality technical execution and delivery of IT services

• Conduct regular reviews of system architecture and performance

• Communicate technical concepts and solutions to non-technical stakeholders

General expectations:

• Proven experience as an IT Infrastructure Engineer or similar role

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

• Ability to design scalable, secure, and robust IT solutions

• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams

• Excellent communication skills in Polish and English

• Solid understanding of enterprise IT environments and infrastructure best practicesHands-on experience with most of our tech stack:

  • Office 365 (o365)

  • Azure Cloud

  • Active Directory (AD)

  • Fileserver management

  • DNS and network infrastructure

  • Windows Server 2025

  • Linux (nice to have)

  • NAS Synology

  • HPE servers and storage

  • Veeam Backup

  • HyperV
