responsibilities :
Database administration:
Oversee databases across sites in a scope of Central Europe
Analyze databases for performance bottlenecks, manage databases update process, incidents
Act as a 2nd line of support for 1st line of databases support (external and internal)
Administration of the databases, supervising the operations and cooperation with DRP teams
Project and Quality Management:
Lead IT infrastructure projects (for the database scope) from conception to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope
Coordinate with stakeholders to define project requirements, objectives, and deliverables
Develop project plans, allocate resources, plan action plans if needed
To perform root cause analysis for database incidents
Implementation of Standards:
To ensure that the deployment process for new databases is in line with corporate standards
Define and manage corrective action plans for databases out of standard, back-up policies
Manage database versions upgrades, patching
Compliance with Cybersecurity rules and NDA
requirements-expected :
3+ years of relevant professional experience
Solid experience with ORACLE and/or MS-SQL databases
Knowledge of both Polish and English language
Ability to work in a fast-paced, international environment
Willingness to travel
