IT Department: 20-30 people (combination of in-office and remote team members, including external consultants)
Key Responsibilities
1. Management of Tools and Technologies
- Understanding IT Flows: Comprehensive understanding of IT flows within the company.
- Specialist Management: Ability to manage and oversee specialists proficient in tools such as:
- Manhattan (WMS): Warehouse Management Systems.
- Salesforce (CRM): Customer Relationship Management and order entry.
- Taland: Data integration between systems.
- Exotech: Robotics for warehouse picking.
- D365 Dynamics: ERP solutions.
- Power BI: Data analysis and reporting tools.
2. Management and Coordination
- Lead and unify an IT team of 20 to 30 members, including in-office employees and remote team members in other countries.
- Ensure effective internal communication and efficient team management.
- Foster a cohesive and motivated team spirit within the IT department.
- Coordinate in English for effective communication among all team members.
- Manage both internal employees and external consultants.
- Structure and drive IT projects within defined timeframes and budgets.
- Supervise the implementation and delivery of projects, as well as continuous improvement of IT workflows.
3. Budget and Management Monitoring
- Oversee budget management and ensure cost-effective use of resources.
- Monitor project expenditures and align them with the budgetary constraints.
4. Reporting and Communication
- Regularly report project progress to the executive management.
- Maintain effective communications with teams and stakeholders.
5. Security
- Ensure comprehensive understanding and implementation of IT security protocols.
- Oversee the security of complex networks and safeguard the company’s data and IT infrastructure.
6. EDI Connections
- Supervise and implement EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) connections with all European clients.
- Ensure maximum data acquisition from the field to optimize business operations.
