responsibilities :
Lead key changes as owner of transformation initiatives at the program level, orchestrate the creation and execution of projects.
Provide a global core IT service fulfilling the needs of 1500 globally distributed, predominantly remote users: endpoint estate, everyday collaboration applications, company cloud environment, SaaS applications, etc.
Oversee a portfolio of business application services including in-house custom software, self-hosted 3rd party solutions and SaaS components.
Lead a department of approx. 30 IT professionals, including support, administrators and SMEs, application developers, product/service owners, project managers and managers of constituent teams, spread across EMEA and APAC regions. Oversee and support professional development, ensure sufficient skills coverage and availability, build and maintain a talent pipeline with paths of career advancement within the structure of the Department, support key talents through coaching and mentoring.
Procure technologies and solutions in response to needs, make build vs. buy decisions, manage key supplier relationships, ensure sustainable, compliant, risk-conscious, economically effective purchase and maintenance of technologies used by the business.
Manage a total IT budget of 10M+ PLN annually. Ensure efficiency and robust control of spend, forecast and execute on approved budgets.
Maintain compliance of the IT environment with security and privacy norms and regulations, particularly ISO 27001, ISO 27701, GDPR, in close cooperation with the Information Security Officer and the Compliance department.
Manage risk across entire scope of information technology and department operations.
requirements-expected :
Minimum 10 years of overall professional experience, with at least 3 years of experience in managing the IT function in a mid-sized or larger organization.
Ability to communicate with a wide range of stakeholders, from highly technical SMEs to senior business leaders, acting as a bridge between technical and business circles.
Track record of leadership and strong management skillset: talent recognition and development, delegation, goal setting and performance management, risk management, crisis and escalation response, strategic planning, change management.
Experience in enterprise solution lifecycle management: ability to prepare and execute a structured evaluation and purchase process, deploy technology, manage change and lead adoption efforts, provide on-going service support and adaptation to evolving business needs, recognize in advance the need to modernize/replace, sunset legacy tech and transition service.
Experience in delivering enterprise transformation through technology: cloud, remote workplace support, digitalization and automation of business processes.
