IT Desktop Support Engineer (Polish and English)
Full-time contract
Language: Polish and English (MUST)
Responsibilities:
- Provide hardware and software troubleshooting as an IT Desktop Support Engineer.
- 2 to 5 years experience in IT Infrastructure field support, troubleshooting hardware, software, and operating system issues.
- Install, troubleshoot, and fix desktops, printers, laptops, and other computer peripherals.
- Basic knowledge of enterprise LAN and WAN setups and concepts.
- Perform smart hand activities under instruction at sites.
- Lift/move computer equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Desk side support and PC break/fix, including basic Windows O/S administration.
- Experience with Anti-spyware and Anti-virus software.
- Basic knowledge of TCP/IP networking, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and RDP.
- Smart hand support for peripheral and networking hardware.
- Troubleshoot systems and networks using deductive reasoning skills.
- Communicate effectively with clients and management.
- Work with deadlines and complete tasks on time.
- Preferably possess an Associates Degree in Electronics and CompTIA A+ Certification.
- Knowledge of ticketing tools (ServiceNow/Remedy, etc.).
- Basic understanding of Mobile Device Management systems (Airwatch/Xenmobile/Mobile Iron, etc.).
- Basic understanding of VDI, SCCM/LanDesk/Altiris, Skype for Business, OneDrive.
Non-Technical Skills:
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Able to interact and work with customers at different levels.
- Self-driven and result-oriented.
- Passionate about the work.
