For one our clients based in Czech Republic we are looking for a skilled Delivery Manager / PMO to oversee and work alongside a team of -10 technical resources to support execution of delivery of AI-focused projects under the PwC US. The long term goal is to deliver the firms new strategy to tax solutions / automations. Ideal candidates would have a tax domain knowledge and tax tech experience, yet not a mandatory requisite for applicants.
responsibilities :
The team would be supporting the development of assets (e.g., plugins) to further drive the AI strategy and put it into practice.
Oversight of team of 10 technical resources of various roles - Business Analyst, Software Lead, GenAI Solution Architect, Software Engineer, Data Scientist
Focus on strategic vision and operational initiatives relating to tax AI
Executing on specific initiatives, as determined by the Tax AI sponsors, and driving progress against related goals
Tracking, managing and reporting on strategic initiatives, projects and operations
Working as part of a team to drive change management activities needed to enact the strategic vision and operational initiatives relating to Tax AI
Project Governance & Coordination: Manage the project governance process and coordinate the efforts of the team, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and needs.
Project Planning & Integration: Collaboratively develop area-specific and integrated project plans, including identifying risks and resource needs for upcoming projects.
Tools & Templates Setup: Assist in setting up tools and templates for the team, ensuring consistent reporting standards and enabling efficient execution of tasks.
Meeting Facilitation: Set cadence and agendas for workstream meetings, facilitate SteerCo meetings, and manage recurring status meetings to gather updates from various project workstreams.
Risk Management: Identify project risks, and work with stakeholders to develop and implement risk mitigation strategies.
Schedule & Budget Maintenance: Maintain and update schedules, risks, and budgets, ensuring alignment with the overall program.
Executive Reporting: Prepare project-level updates for Executive Leadership, highlighting key metrics, risks, and progress.
Scope & Timeline Management: Monitor scope and timeline variances, assessing their potential impact on value realization, and work with stakeholders to address implications.
KPI & Benefit Tracking: Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure reporting requirements are identified and to measure program benefits and associated KPIs.
requirements-expected :
Over 5 years of experience in software development with focus on technology product management and development
PMO experience with strong organizational skills, demonstrated ability to organize the team, manage scope, timeline and risks
Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Consultant Mindset: Skilled in proposing innovations, explaining reasons for change, and guiding non-technical stakeholders through complex decisions
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Azure DevOps, Jira, Confluence, G Suite and/or MS Project tools.
Strong understanding of project management methodologies and best practices.
Ability to work effectively with teams in the US time zone (standard work hours by 6 pm CET, with a preference for longer overlap with US time).
Interest in AI, GenAI, prompting, automation

Advanced Data Analysis: Ability to analyze complex data sets and use insights to drive decision-making and program adjustments.
