ERGO Technology & Services S.A. (ET&S S.A.) was established in January 2021 following the integration of ERGO Digital IT and Atena into one entity, leveraging both companies’ strengths and best practices. As a part of ERGO Technology & Services Management AG, the technology holding of ERGO Group AG, we support millions of internal and external customers with state-of-the-art IT solutions to everyday problems.
In October 2022, ET&S S.A. expanded its scope of operations by creating a Business Services unit to contribute in a new way to the growth of ERGO’s business. Acting as a co-partner and internal consultant, it adds non-IT value and supports the development of the entire ERGO Group, currently offering skills in reporting, analysis, actuarial, and input management. How you will get the job done
- advising and supporting organizational units in managing compliance risk, including in particular IT compliance and related requirements from external companies in the insurance industry
- identifying and assessing IT compliance risks, in particular in terms of compliance with applicable external and internal requirements, including requirements defined by insurance outsourcers
- developing IT compliance programs based on Group standards
- participating in the development and maintenance of a monitoring and control plan, including monitoring the implementation of activities, with particular emphasis on IT compliance
- advising and collaborating with operational, project and management functions on all relevant IT compliance issues and queries
- co-creating management reports and reports for the Group’s insurance companies to meet the outsourcing requirements
Skills and experience you will need
- English language skills at the B2/C1 level
- minimum 3 years of experience gained within compliance, risk management or audit activities in financial services, insurance or audit firm
- experience in IT compliance, IT risk management, IT governance or IT audit at a financial services, IT, insurance or audit firm is a plus
- knowledge of relevant external legal and regulatory IT requirements, as well as modern IT technologies, procedures, processes and IT standards (including DORA/ISO/cloud requirements)
- strong skills in analyzing and evaluating complex processes and issues, including conducting complex IT compliance analyses
- clear sense of responsibility, team-oriented work style, as well as independence and ability to find solutions
- communicativeness, ease of establishing contacts, openness and ability to formulate arguments and present conclusions
- good knowledge of MS Office, in particular, Excel, PowerPoint and Forms
Nice to have
- completed studies with a focus on IT (business) or comparable qualifications obtained as part of professional training and professional development
- experience working in an IT, insurance or auditing company
- knowledge of agile methodologies, preferably with experience in digital transformation processes
- knowledge of legal requirements, requirements of European regulators such as BaFIN/NBB/EIOPA for the financial sector on the international market and audit methodologies such as ITIL/ISACA/NIST/ISO
