Job Description
As the IT Business Analyst for Finance Reporting & Analytics you will collaborate with finance stakeholders and IT teams to design, develop and deliver financial reporting and analytics solutions based on D365 Finance & Operations data. You will gather reporting requirements, analyse business processes and data structures, define KPIs, prepare report layouts and functional specifications, and support the development and testing of reports and dashboards using D365FO native tools, Power BI, Excel and other analytics platforms.
- Reporting & Analytics Design – Gather reporting requirements, maintain the reporting inventory, design report layouts and KPIs, and translate these into clear functional specifications for Power BI, Excel and other reporting tools.
- Data Analysis & Modelling – Analyse D365FO financial data structures, validate data quality, support data extraction and modelling activities, and ensure accurate representation of key financial statements and operational reports.
- Reporting Testing & Release – Lead or support functional testing of reports and dashboards (SIT, UAT), document test scenarios, track defects, and confirm that reporting solutions meet accuracy, performance and usability standards before release to production.
- Documentation – Create and maintain functional documentation, including reporting specifications, data mapping sheets, row and column definitions, process flows, user guides and test scripts.
- Project Delivery & Rollout Support – Support reporting and analytics workstreams during D365FO deployments and improvements, collaborating with the Centre of Excellence, implementation partners and country teams to ensure timely delivery of standardised reports across regions.
- Training & Stakeholder Support – Provide training, documentation and post‑Go‑Live support to finance users, helping them adopt new reporting solutions and ensuring stable operation and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- 7–8 years of operational finance experience in roles such as Reporting Analyst, Management Accountant, Finance Controller or Business Controller within a medium or large international organisation.
- Deep expertise in financial and management reporting, including preparation and analysis of Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, Trial Balance, ageing reports and reconciliations.
- Strong proficiency in delivering end‑to‑end reporting solutions within large organisations, using Power BI and advanced Excel.
- Experience with reports in D365FO, AX2012 or similar ERP systems, and participation in ERP deployment reporting workstreams.
- Excellent presentation and information design skills to tailor report layouts and visualisations to diverse stakeholder groups while ensuring compliance with Eurofins standards.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.
- Strong communication skills in English, written and verbal; additional languages are an advantage.
Employment and Working Conditions
- Occasional travel (20–40%) for user acceptance testing, workshops and Go‑Live support.
- Collaboration with Finance, IT, external partners and corporate/regional business and IT teams in a multicultural and international environment.
- Contracts offered with a minimum duration of one year, possible extension to two years; a B2B arrangement is preferred with flexibility for hybrid remote collaboration.
