Role Overview: As an IT Business Analyst and the lead for the PT Analytics & Reporting (A&R) stream, you will play a key role in shaping the future of analytics and reporting for the organization. You will join a multicultural, dynamic, and innovative A&R team based in Kaiseraugst, responsible for delivering reporting and analytical solutions worldwide. IT Business Analyst - Analytics & Reporting Lead (S/4 HANA, BW/4, SAP)

Your responsibilities

• Design, build, and oversee the implementation of Analytics & Reporting solutions for Global Tech Ops, including MAKE, QM, SCM, Global Procurement, and Assets.
• Ensure the developed solutions meet both existing and new technical operations landscape requirements, integrating with end-to-end processes, data interfaces, and platforms.
• Manage the implementation of requirements from the Define/Design phase of the ASPIRE program within A&R PT streams, collaborating with IT, business, and off-shore teams to ensure deliverables with full transparency on status and risk management.
• Proactively identify and resolve issues, escalate risks, and make key decisions regarding the solutions.
• Analyze business requirements and design solutions for BW Cloud (Datasphere), Analytics & Reporting in S/4 HANA, and BW/4, including SAC Reporting and integration of SAP and non-SAP systems.
• Review, validate, and interpret functional and technical documentation, including URS and user stories.
• Collaborate on architecture and design decisions for the S/4 HANA landscape, considering enterprise architecture and long-term program objectives.
• Lead the transition from current to future state systems and processes as part of this long-term transformation initiative.
• Report directly to the IT PT A&R Lead, ensuring alignment with business and end-user needs.

Our requirements

• 5+ years of experience in IT Business Analysis, with a focus on Analytics & Reporting in an SAP environment.
• In-depth knowledge of A&R for Manufacturing, QM, Compliance, Assets, and MDG, with hands-on expertise in SAP tools (S/4 HANA, SAC, BW/4, BW Cloud, HANA Native).
• Strong understanding of financial processes, global systems, and operational business setups (Manufacturing, Supply Chain, etc.).
• Familiarity with GXP requirements and regulations.
• Strong adaptability to work in a fast-paced, agile, and dynamic environment with constantly shifting priorities.
• Ability to work independently and manage hands-on tasks to meet project deadlines and deliverables.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to engage business stakeholders and understand their needs.
• Proven experience in managing stakeholder and senior management engagement.
• Expertise in SAP ERP/BW implementations, migrations, and rollouts in a global environment (preferably S/4 HANA and BW/4).
• Good understanding of data regulations, accuracy, and latency.
• Knowledge of SNOWFLAKE and AWS S3.
• Foundational knowledge of AI/ML, data products, Data Mesh, or Data Fabric.
