The Business Analyst will act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, driving the successful delivery of digital projects focused on improving operational efficiency, equipment effectiveness, and data-driven decision-making. Beyond serving the paper division, this role will act as a bridge to align data governance standards, processes, and best practices across related divisions such as Recycling and Packaging.
responsibilities :
Collaborate with business digital team, plant managers, production supervisors, quality teams, IT, and data specialists to gather and validate business needs and pain points
Translate business requirements into clear and actionable functional specifications for digital solutions such as downtime tracking, OEE tracking, predictive maintenance, and IoT-based data platforms
Document current manufacturing workflows and identify digital opportunities to streamline processes, reduce downtime, and increase productivity
Partner with data engineers and data scientists to define data requirements and KPIs (e.g., OEE, downtime root cause analysis), ensuring alignment with business goals
Assist in vendor evaluation, software configuration, and implementation. Support testing (UAT), training, and rollout of new digital tools across manufacturing sites
Facilitate user adoption by communicating value, conducting workshops, and gathering feedback post-implementation
Monitor the performance of deployed solutions, gather feedback, and support iterative enhancements
requirements-expected :
Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field
5+ years of experience as a BA, preferably in manufacturing or industrial environment
Fluency in English
Experience in industrial data management, OT systems, or manufacturing data analysis
Solid understanding of manufacturing processes and KPIs such as OEE, throughput, scrap, cycle time
Experience working on digital projects involving MES, SCADA, ERP, or IIoT platforms
Strong analytical skills and proficiency in tools such as Excel, Power BI, SQL, or similar
Excellent communication and documentation skills, able to interface with both shopfloor and senior stakeholders
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
Knowledge of Industry 4.0 concepts and enabling technologies (e.g., edge computing, digital twins, machine learning in production)
Track record in implementing digital solutions and digital product management in an industrial environment
Industry experience – nice to have
Ability to travel 20%
