The IT Business Analyst for EDI & Data Integration Services provides support in the assigned area of the order-to-cash processes, EDI and Data Integration Services in relation to Order Management and Commerce solutions, in support of Sylvamo’s trading partners. You will formulate and define systems, scope and objectives based on both user needs and a thorough understanding of business systems and industry requirements.
responsibilities :
Work cohesively with IT resources, process stewards, business representatives and external partners on understanding the needs of Sylvamo’s trading partners for EDI integrations to support and streamline order-to-cash processes.
Understand, design, build, implement and sustain EDI solutions.
Deliver projects within agreed schedule and budget.
Track progress, communicate milestones and escalate issues for all assigned EDI efforts.
Configure Majiq Elixir and other applications to enable automation of defined business processes and maintain configuration documentation.
Work both independently and collaboratively in cross-functional team environment to ensure the design meets the business requirements.
Design, document, and perform functional testing to ensure the solution addresses all the requirements and is working properly.
Identify, assess impact, and provide recommendation for resolution of issues related to business processes, procedural and system changes; escalate problems of high complexity and severity.
React to and troubleshoot IT requests concerning EDI disruptions.
Work with our Business and IT partners to support, identify, gather information, and develop change requests for existing sustain issues or new requirements.
Analyze and understand business data to support decision making by presenting information effectively to the stakeholders.
Keep up to date with solutions alternative to EDI that could meet business needs while maintaining standards.
requirements-expected :
Minimum 3 years of Business Analysis or IT experience in EDI and Data Integration area.
Knowledge of business process mapping, data modeling, EDI standards (EDIFACT, XML) and protocols (AS2, FTP, SFTP, HTTPS etc.).
Experience in designing and leading concept and functional testing of EDI.
Proven track record in solving IT problems.
Excellent command of English.
Strong analytical and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with both internal and external stakeholders.
