Job Description:

As a BI Reporting Platform Admin, you will be part of a fast-paced, cutting-edge Data and Analytics team. You will be tasked with supporting and growing our Enterprise Data Hub and Reporting platform. You will work to provide platform-level solutions to accommodate the growing data and reporting needs of our stakeholders across all business functions. We want you to be creative, enthusiastic and persistent, and above all, not afraid of trying and failing.

Scope of Responsibilities / Expectations:

1. Working with Tableau Reporting Environment
2. Experience with Tableau Servers
3. Support and continued development of sites, projects, groups, and users in Tableau
4. Testing and applying upgrades to Tableau on a regular basis
5. Troubleshooting issues related to data sources and connections
6. Assist in User License management
7. Support Integrations to Tableau, such as Jenkins, BitBucket, etc
8. Identify new tools and technologies to improve the data delivery and the data platform.
9. Production Support and issue resolution for our Tableau platform
10. You will monitor and address performance issues that may span multiple platforms across the Data and Analytics environment.
11. You will enhance BI Analytics capabilities over time you will analyze data patterns and usage, provide recommendations, design and implement solutions
12. You will help facilitate analytical solutions for understanding data

Desired Background/Knowledge/Skills:

1. Experience working with Tableau Server (1 to 3 years)
2. Tableau Server Certified Associate or Server Certified Professional
3. Proficient in writing and evaluating SQL queries
4. Familiarity with CI/CD and related tools such as Jenkins
5. Understanding of SCRUM/Agile methodology
6. Understanding of REST API concepts
7. Strong communication skills
8. Excellent SQL and strong hands-on scripting (Shell Script, Python) ability

Basic Requirements:

1. Bachelors degree with 3+ years of Tableau support experience
2. OR Masters degree with 1+ years of Tableau support experience
