We are looking for an automation tester who is self-driven and proactive, capable of taking initiatives and leading the automation efforts. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining automation frameworks, driving test strategy, and ensuring high-quality delivery through automated testing practices. Some manual testing will be needed when the demand is there.

IT Automation Tester (TS+Playwright)

Your responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks, primarily using Playwright and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Build automation structures from scratch and create scalable, maintainable automated test suites.
• Develop and execute API automated tests, ensuring high test coverage and reliability.
• Implement test scenarios using BDD practices and collaborate closely with the team on test strategy.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and maintain their stability and performance.
• Use SQL databases for test data preparation and verification of test results.
• Perform manual testing when automation is not feasible and proactively propose quality improvements.

Our requirements

• Proven experience in building automation frameworks from scratch.
• Strong skills in API testing.
• Proficiency with Playwright.
• Solid understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience with Behaviour-Driven Development (BDD).
• Good knowledge of SQL databases.
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines/Setting up and maintaining.
• Experience with Python.
• Familiarity with cloud-based testing environments.
• Knowledge of performance and security testing.
