We are looking for an automation tester who is self-driven and proactive, capable of taking initiatives and leading the automation efforts. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining automation frameworks, driving test strategy, and ensuring high-quality delivery through automated testing practices. Some manual testing will be needed when the demand is there.
responsibilities :
Design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks, primarily using Playwright and JavaScript/TypeScript.
Build automation structures from scratch and create scalable, maintainable automated test suites.
Develop and execute API automated tests, ensuring high test coverage and reliability.
Implement test scenarios using BDD practices and collaborate closely with the team on test strategy.
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and maintain their stability and performance.
Use SQL databases for test data preparation and verification of test results.
Perform manual testing when automation is not feasible and proactively propose quality improvements.
requirements-expected :
Proven experience in building automation frameworks from scratch.
Strong skills in API testing.
Proficiency with Playwright.
Solid understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript.
Experience with Behaviour-Driven Development (BDD).
Good knowledge of SQL databases.
Exposure to CI/CD pipelines/Setting up and maintaining.
