IT Asset Management Analyst

Responsibilities
- Reduce the number of duplicate entries to a minimum.
- Update missing required attributes.
- Review stale entries and identify retired devices or discovery opportunities.
- Review configuration item changes daily.
- Improve information from various teams for each asset class.
- Identify gaps in configuration items and assist support teams to fix the gaps.
- Ensure retired devices are reflected in the inventory.
- Work on tickets assigned to Asset Management.
- Participate in change meetings and ensure CMDB data is updated for moves, decommissions, upgrades, and other hardware changes.
- Add and/or modify discovery schedules and schedule maintenance change requests.
- Manage contracts in ServiceNow.
- Assist with creating hardware assets or submit requests for bulk upload/update.
- Complete other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of IT support experience.
- No certifications required.
- Proficient in basic hardware asset management and CMDB concepts.
- Capable of managing varied assignments independently and in a group.
- Attention to detail is highly desired.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
