• We are looking for an experienced IT architect capable to understand the functional/business needs of the client and translate this into functional/technical requirements and specifications. The main area of work is linked to development of a middleware platform mixing custom microservices development and integration of existing opensource solutions.

• Understand the business and functional needs of the client;
• Gather/ellaborate functional and technical requirements;
• Define functional and technical specifications (architecture) fulfilling the requirements;
• Coordinate and validate the establishment and development of the architecture;
• Rapidly engage with customer department staff, clients/users and professional colleagues, and develop a reputation for good judgement and effectiveness in a variety of interpersonal cultures;
• Interact and communicate with c-level executives, consortium partners, different stakeholders in a program. Often ‘political’ environment;
• Able to convince a customer of a particular solution;
• Be pragmatic and able to negotiate;
• Take an active part, in the definition of strategies based around Enterprise Architecture to drive business improvement, innovation, and/or make more effective use of IT;
• Build or identify/select a solution in line with customer needs;
• Feel comfortable with leading multi-specialist projects, building further on your market, business and technical overview and practical experience;
• Able to coach a team of senior developers;
• Have a strong team spirit.

• Take ownership for the strategy and methods used in implementing an architecture;
• Integrate opensource products and solutions in the architecture like API Gateway (Spring Cloud), API Management, Microservices (Spring Boot), Containers (Kubernetes), Message Broker (Kafka);
• Lead all aspects of design activities for your assigned part of the architecture;
• Assure specification and design work to assist in the development of Service Level Agreements and any associated service guarantees;
• Architecture Methodology & Modelling: TOGAF, Archimate, UML, BPMN
• Agile frameworks, Devops & tools usage: SAFe/ scrum, Atlassian suite, Open source devops;
• Take into account all security aspects in the design: Authentication, Autorisation, Auditing, Confidentiality, IAM
