We are looking for a knowledgeable and detail-oriented System and Application Administrator to manage, support and develop our IT systems and applications. The ideal candidate will be responsible for recognizing user needs, proposing solutions, installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of software systems. His/Her expertise will ensure the optimal performance, security, and reliability of our systems and applications. As a member of local IT, he/she will also participate in their daily tasks.
responsibilities :
Actively work with departments to analyze their needs.
Propose solutions to improve internal processes, data management and integration of systems.
Deliver automation solutions.
Install, configure applications, and related components.
Monitor system performance, security, and availability; address issues proactively.
Manage user accounts and permissions, ensuring secure access to systems and applications.
Support local IT in their tasks.
Troubleshoot and resolve software problems in a timely manner.
Collaborate with development teams in deployments and upgrades.
Maintain documentation of systems and local procedures.
Ensure compliance with security policies and best practices.
Participate in regular security audits.
Provide technical support and training for end-users on system applications and tools.
Keep updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to make recommendations.
requirements-expected :
Higher education in IT.
3 years of experience in system and application administration.
Good understanding of operating systems (Windows, Linux) and application servers.
Basic experience in database usage (SQL) and management (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL).
Experience with automation and scripting languages (e.g. VBA, PowerShell, Python), low-code platforms and cloud technologies.
Knowledge of networking concepts and security best practices.
Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Communicative level of English and Polish is required.
Readiness for occasional business trips.
