For our customer, leader on the industrial real estate market, we are looking for IT Applications Administrator. This individual will participate in the development and maintenance of all existing and new European IT applications.

Project information:

  • Location: Warsaw (hybrid work - 2 days from home, 3 days from the office)
  • Type of employment: contract of employment or B2B contract
  • Remuneration: up to 16 000 PLN gross CoE or 16 000 net + VAT on B2B
  • Level: Mid
  • Project language: Polish and English

Your daily tasks:

  • Application management:
    • Installation, configuration and upgrading application
    • Monitoring of application performance and availability
    • Manage user access rights
  • Providing technical support within managed business applications
    • Resolving technical issues
    • Providing support for application End-Users
    • Diagnosing and fixing errors and performance problems.
  • Database management:
    • Administration of databases related to applications.
    • Ensuring data security and compliance with company policies.
    • Performing backups and data recovery when necessary.
  • Creating and maintaining technical documentation and operational procedures.
  • Reporting application status and incidents to supervisors.
  • Preparing disaster recovery procedure and performing the DR testing.
  • Identifying and implementing improvements in application performance.
  • Being a Subject Matter Expert in Business Applications related field, working closely with IT Project Manager and Business Project Manager.
  • Coordinating activities of application vendors in order to ensure high performance and continuous work of applications that are supporting business processes.
  • Effective communication with both technical and functional end-users.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in administering Jira.
  • Experience in providing remote support to users, diagnose problems, and recommend or implement solutions.
  • Basic knowledge of software development technology, principles, methods, tools, and practices and industry standards and trends across all phases including design, development, testing, implementation, deployment, maintenance.
  • In-depth knowledge of key business analysis tasks, elements, and techniques.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to manage escalations reported by the internal customers.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills in English and Polish.

Nice to have:

  • Certificates related to application or system administration (e.g. ITIL, Microsoft Certified).
  • Experience working in a DevOps or Agile environment.
  • Basic front-end (HTML, CSS, JS) and back-end developer (C#) knowledge.
