IT Analyst
Purpose of Role
The school is seeking an IT Analyst to support the implementation of a student management system – iSAMS in two schools in Warsaw. The selected candidate will act as the liaison between the regional and global teams and the school, ensuring the successful implementation and optimal use of the system by the school staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with regional and global teams to ensure that the schools specific requirements are considered and implemented appropriately.
- Take ownership of the school’s action items, driving tasks to completion by monitoring progress, and proactively resolving issues to ensure deadlines are met and outcomes are implemented successfully.
- Oversee school’s tasks ensuring deadlines are met.
- Receive comprehensive training on the new school management system and take ownership of configuring it to reflect the schools’ unique workflows. Provide ongoing guidance and support to ensure staff fully understand and effectively utilize its functionalities.
- Assist the regional team and the school teams with data extraction from the current system and preparation of the data for import into the new system, ensuring a smooth transition with no data loss.
- Proactive liaison with different providers to create appropriate bridges between the existing systems.
- Work with school staff to understand existing processes and identify necessary changes to adapt them to the new management system and promote effective use of the system.
- Monitor and address any technical or organizational issues that may arise during implementation and in the initial post-implementation phase, ensuring minimal disruption and a smooth transition for all users.
- Create and maintain clear, user-friendly documentation to support management team, staff, teachers, parents, and students.
- Facilitate communication among all stakeholders, ensuring that each team completes their tasks and provides timely feedback.
- Ensure the system is used to its full potential, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Gather ongoing feedback from school teams, analyze challenges, and work with regional/global teams to implement system improvements or new features.
- Evaluate opportunities to integrate iSAMS with other existing school systems, coordinate with relevant teams, and oversee updates or enhancements.
- Ensure proper handling of sensitive student and staff data in alignment with local and global data protection regulations, implementing best-practice security measures.
- Accurately retrieve and organize data, ensuring it is presented in an accessible format so school teams can effectively analyze student information and make data-driven decisions.
Skills, Qualifications and Experience
- Project management experience , with a focus on implementing software systems (preferably student management systems or similar).
- IT background : strong understanding of IT systems, their configurations, and technical support.
- Experience in the education sector : previous experience in a school environment, preferably in administration or educational system management.
- Excellent command of English , both written and spoken, to facilitate communication with international teams.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills to guide a multidisciplinary team and ensure project completion within the planned timeline.
- Problem-solving abilities and the capacity to manage change in a dynamic environment.
- Familiarity with iSAMS would be a huge advantage.
