Salary: £50,000 - 90,000 per year

• We are looking for an experienced IS Solutions Developer with the following key skills:
• ETL pipeline design & implementation: Ability to build robust data flows end-to-end (ingest → transform → load), demonstrating strong habits around error handling, retries, idempotency, and observability.
• Proficiency in C# / .NET (v8, moving to v10) for authoring transformations/plugins and scripting flow logic, with familiarity in dependency injection, async/await, and background processing patterns.
• Strong experience with MS SQL Server (T-SQL): including schema design, performant queries, stored procedures, and indexing for high-volume workloads.
• Knowledge of message-queuing fundamentals (e.g., RabbitMQ, Azure Service Bus): including pub/sub, acknowledgments, dead-lettering, routing keys, and throughput tuning.
• Experience with caching patterns (Redis): including designing cache keys, TTLs/expiry, invalidation strategies, and handling cache-miss paths.
• Ability to work with structured payloads: including JSON, base64 file content, and blob/object storage for large assets.
• Understanding of DevOps & deployment: experience with Docker-based development/hosting and CI/CD using Azure DevOps (pipelines, artifacts, environments).
• Experience in monitoring & diagnostics: using Application Insights and Azure Log Analytics; interpreting metrics, traces, and logs to troubleshoot flow failures.
• Knowledge of secure API integration: including rate limiting, authentication, and governance via Azure API Management.
• Operational know-how: ability to deploy and maintain Windows Services and IIS-hosted components in production.
• Experience with version control & collaboration: using Git, code reviews, and lean documentation of flows.
