This position reports to: IS Application Monitoring & Automation Manager

Work Model

Hybrid/remote.

This role contributes to the Information Services (IS) Core function globally.

Responsibilities

• Proactively support the installation, management, maintenance, and optimization of the service for their own area of responsibility and cross‑functional processes related to IS services.
• Review requirements and specifications and identify those that require action within their scope of responsibility.
• Install and test new versions and investigate and coordinate the resolution of potential and actual service problems.
• Prepare and maintain operational documentation for the system services and advise on the correct and effective use of the services.
• Diagnose faults and record and report on results of tests.
• Work closely with suppliers responsible for specific service and validate their performance in accordance with contract terms.
• Engage proactively with suppliers to resolve incidents, problems, or unsatisfactory performance and implement supplier‑management related service improvement initiatives and programs.
• Monitor and report on supplier performance and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant experience in monitoring services.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related work experience.
• Certification or knowledge in any platforms: Elastic, Dynatrace, Grafana, Azure Monitor, AWS CloudWatch, Google Cloud Operations Suite (formerly Stackdriver).
• Any certification in programming languages, cloud platforms, infrastructure, networking, systems engineering would be a plus.
• Experience in implementing and managing event‑management systems (AIOps) such as Moogsoft, Big Panda, or ITOM to streamline incident management and automation will be preferred.
