Your challenges:
Assist internal clients in the negotiation and drafting of master franchise agreements, development agreements, franchise agreements, franchise manuals and all other franchise contractual documents (i.e. any agreement involving the transfer of know-how from the franchisor to the franchisee on the basis of a license fee and/or brand expansion or development) with franchisees and franchisors of the groups brands, by defending the interests of AmRest,
Provide legal support to internal clients and other teams in the legal department on AmRests franchise relationships, ensuring compliance with existing franchise agreements with franchisors or franchisees and applicable franchise laws and texts,
Monitor and manage litigation strictly related to franchise matters (including the conclusion, execution and/or termination of franchise agreements), and coordinate work with external counsel,
Intellectual Property: Assist the Franchise and IP Director in the management of the brand portfolio and the protection and enforcement of AmRests intellectual property rights on a global scale (trademarks, designs, copyrights and image rights, and licenses),
Ensure compliance with AmRests legal procedures, policies, and best practices.
Your skills & experience:
You have a Master degree in law and have a minimum of 5 years of experience in franchise law. You have a solid knowledge of contract law/business law, and are eager to develop intellectual property skills (no previous experience is required in this field),
You have a solid level of English, both written and oral,
With a good ability to evolve and interact at a high level, you are recognized for your interpersonal skills and discretion, not to mention your ability to work in a team,
