Project

We are looking for a Senior Test Automation Engineer to join a project in the financial sector focused on fraud detection and prevention. The role involves working with third-party platforms andcustom-built integrations designed to enhance monitoring capabilities and support internal teams in identifying and mitigating fraudulent activities.

Responsibilities

• Planning, designing, and executing tests in line with the latest Test Strategy
• Preparing and managing test data
• Automating tests for both UI and backend components
• Building dashboards for performance and quality evaluation
• Updating and maintaining the master test plan
• Conducting and monitoring non-functional testing (performance, stress, security)
• Collaborating with development and operations teams to ensure smooth release processes

Expected competences and knowledge

• 5+ years of experience in software testing (manual and automation)
• Strong knowledge of Python and Robot Framework
• Commercial Experience with Selenium
• Experience with test management tools (qTest, Jira)
• Familiarity with API testing and low-latency systems
• General testing knowledge at least at ISTQB Foundation Level
• Hands-on experience with the Java ecosystem, relational databases, and Linux environment
• Experience with non-functional testing (performance, stress, or security)
• Ability to maintain high-quality standards across complex, integrated systems

Nice-to-have skills

• Experience with Payments, Cards, or Fraud detection systems and their automation
• Knowledge of network monitoring tools
• Experience with JMeter, Splunk, Grafana, or Cucumber
• GitHub Copilot experience will be a significant plus
